What happens next?
Once you contact us, I will personally review the information you submit. I will then contact you back to either request additional information about your matter, offer you a an in-person consultation, or to let you know that it is clear that your matter is not the type of matter with which I can assist.
Please be aware that there is a charge for most types of consultations. I will let you know what that charge is and what the consultation entails so you can decide whether or not you wish to move forward. Rest assured, there will never be any surprise charges or fees.
At times like this, many people wonder things like: Should I bother? Is it worth it? Do I really need a lawyer?
These are the questions I deal with every day. I addressed some of them in the Quick Answers section. Feel free to go there and read more. You may also find valuable information on my Practice Areas page or on my blog - The Texas Employment Law Blog. Educate yourself. Knowledge is power. Come back to this page when you are ready to take the next step.
A Few Words Of Warning:
If you are still employed, don’t quit until you speak with a lawyer. It may weaken your case.
If you are being harassed or discriminated against or know that someone else is, report it in writing to your company's HR department. Check your company's handbook and follow the internal complaint policy if it has one. Some types of claims are only preserved if you take advantage of internal policies.
